In God's Hands

Who can you trust to watch over your children while they are in school? Their teachers? Who can you trust to watch over them while they play outside? Your neighbors? Who can you trust to watch over them while they lay asleep in their bedrooms at night? You?

Parents, neither locks or keys are ENOUGH to trust in and rely on to keep your children safe.
It is when God watches over us that we are KEPT

If we fail to allow God to be God to us, then we are like sheep without a shepherd. The world is full of wolves, and without the Arm of the Lord, our children are easy prey.
Parents, always put your children in God's hand; teach them how to pray and call upon God!

Yes, let us do everything in our power to keep them safe, but know that the ultimate power to protect them is God's power. Acknowledge it to your children so they can learn to trust and rely on him in trouble times, so that he will hear them when they call upon him. Allow God to be your Hero, and the Hero for your children by making him your buckler and shield.

Trust him to be the hiding place in the time of a storm. His ARMS are STRONG and HE is the EXPERT in providing protection.

INSTINCT...A Writer's Tale

Experience a writer's tale: INSTINCT

*     It appears that those who taste true bliss no longer want to be a participant of the daily undermined games of what society call LIVING.

*     If you find yourself embracing worldly possession, and seeking status or recognition is a sure sign of blindness, and the failure to LINK-UP with the higher power.

*   The tale will give you a burst of inspiration that's worth possessing. With all cloaks removed, this tale demonstrated the view of human weakness, and its desire, wantonness, and struggle for power in a wonderful, revealing, transparent form.

*A man of high status in the eyes of professionals, among the so called elite, made a decision to escape civilization to live with a tribe of gorillas in the forest of Africa. As he drew himself in the study the fascinating animals, he was adopted by them.

*Purity embraced him in the raw, and in return, he learned to embrace it. The power of recognizing it proved to be invaluable, and because he accepted it, he received the courage to exit the unfilled hunger of society's control.

*This freed him for the shackles of greed and the need for glory in the eyes of his own kind. He saw the hidden potential of man, and realized the things men esteem, really didn't matter. His eyes were open to see that prestige was only vain accomplishments.

*Peace and tranquility are found and embraced in the wilderness; there a man seems to attach himself with the oneness of God.

The Role of the Critics-- Their Beginning, Their Attributes, and Their End

Critics might have their role in society, but there is no place for them among God's true people. Critics are not leaders; they take no responsibility in how others react to their deadly statements. Their strength only lies in the power of finger pointing. They are without the tools or the ability to preserve; their guide is interpretations developed out of envy and jealousy.

They fall short of God's glory, therefore, they create their image by discounting the reputations and actions of others; they tear down but they do not rebuild, they pluck up, but they do not replant; they kill but they do not restore life.

They mimic their father, the first critic, the one who caused division among the angels against God. They mimic Cain, the one who to kill his brother, Abel. They mimic the unbelievers, whose hearts filled with doubt, and crucified Jesus.

The job of critics is to destroy those who are good; unbeknown to them, they award themselves with the unfortunate curse of death.

...and It Was Good

Some time ago, while looking out of the kitchen window, I watched two young, African American, boys who live on the opposite side of the fence. While eating their food, they reached over the fence to share it with the neighbor's two dogs. Afterwards, they took their personal water bottles and began to aim and pour it out for the dogs to get a drink. I was impressed, and I was sure that God was watching them too. I felt that God was pleased because they were behaving humanly with compassion toward animals. In a world filled with more than an evil notion toward animals, I believe that this was on of those moments when God considered that his mercy toward man has not been in vain; and God saw that it was Good.
