...and It Was Good

Some time ago, while looking out of the kitchen window, I watched two young, African American, boys who live on the opposite side of the fence. While eating their food, they reached over the fence to share it with the neighbor's two dogs. Afterwards, they took their personal water bottles and began to aim and pour it out for the dogs to get a drink. I was impressed, and I was sure that God was watching them too. I felt that God was pleased because they were behaving humanly with compassion toward animals. In a world filled with more than an evil notion toward animals, I believe that this was on of those moments when God considered that his mercy toward man has not been in vain; and God saw that it was Good.
