Rejoice!

If we can endure grief, we will surely rejoice in blessings!

Humble Children...

Infirmities have purpose, for in weakness lies your greatest strength.

That Penny on the Ground...

A penny is the least of all coins. It is broken down to the single most value and yet in a parable, Jesus referred to it as an equal reward that he agreed to pay any labourer for a day. (Matthew 20:1) A penny's sum value cannot be broken down any further. In the case of the parable, It is just enough for ONE labourer, (NOT two) to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. So, whenever I see a penny, it reminds me of a soul, so I don't walk over it... I pick it up. 1 cent MATTERS.

What is There to Debate?

In life there are struggles, people are struggling with drugs, alcohol, depression, and many forms of sex addictions. People struggling with homelessness, child abuse, police brutality, rape of many forms, and these are just some of the forces against us. But we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual wickedness.

Yes, I wish people would understand that in REAL-life Jesus Christ is power to help us overcome these obstacles. If we forbear fighting for our minds, and our lives then our bodies are left defenseless, weak, and open for the habitation of anything. The Gov. is not our defense, money is not our defense, and protesting is not a defense against spiritual wickedness. It takes a stronger than HE that is in the world to deliver us.  Sins and transgressions are remitted by the blood of Jesus.

Yes, we need love, forgiveness, mercy, and we need to be fixed from the issues that lead our feet to the gates of confusion. But when we are broken, what is there to debate? When we are succumbed with depression, guilt, and confusion, what is there to debate? When Jesus stands knocking on the door of our hearts, why would we choose to debate? For our reasoning? Over and over again, our personal reasoning has failed us. We must trust Jesus and lean not to our own understanding.
