While listening to a
television commercial this evening, the announcer said, “We are imperfect
people who live in an imperfect world.” Usually without thinking, most people
will agree, but I listened, then I disagreed.
This world
IS perfect, though its citizens are not. Since creation, this world has never
faltered it purpose. The sun and moon have never fallen from the sky; oxygen
continues to stimulate our lungs in-spite of man-made emission fumes. As the
Creator commanded, grass continues to grow, trees continue their purpose, waters
continue to be separate from land, and not once have the clouds dropped to suffocate
us. Seasons, signs, days, and years are still being divided by day and night.
God made all things, and He saw that it was good.
