A penny is the least of all coins. It is broken down to the single most
value and yet in a parable, Jesus referred to it as an equal reward
that he agreed to pay any labourer for a day. (Matthew 20:1) A penny's
sum value cannot be broken down any further. In the case of the
parable, It is just enough for ONE labourer, (NOT two) to enter into
the Kingdom of Heaven. So, whenever I see a penny, it reminds me of a
soul, so I don't walk over it... I pick it up. 1 cent MATTERS.
