This particular woman walks us through her mental turmoil of entrapment as she learned to accept God’s forgiveness for her trespasses.
“In the past,” She said, “society had always looked down on women for their sexual trespasses; and mentally, women were forced to wear the scarlet letter (A) for an adulterous or the letter (F) for fornicator. Even though when most of those acts were committed, women had hope of being loved by the men they committed the offenses with.” Apparently today, it seems that some women struggle to forgive themselves for their sins against God.
She explained that
the mental bearing of the scarlet letters, made her to feel unworthy of
God’s forgiveness; saying that satan then used her weakness as a tool to keep her
bound, for she assumed that God wanted her to continue to feel mortified,
unworthy, and never raise her hung down head. “Furthermore”, she said, “My emotions were
toyed with; I had been lead to believe that I was special to each of those men,
and now laughed at because I foolishly trusted the feelings of those moments.
Tricked only by satan who cast those thoughts into my mind to keep me trapped, so
that I would continue to trip, fall, and doubt God’s forgiveness.”
“Fortunately,” she
said, “Jesus knew what was in the heart of the harlot; which is why he forgave
her. He demonstrated to women that we do not have to continue to bear
the yokes of our sins.” For example, the harlot who was
caught in the very act of adultery was thrown down before Jesus, and as the men
were about to stone her, Jesus wrote in the ground, then each accuser
dropped his stone and walked away. Surely he must have written, “Thy sins be
forgiven thee,” and then Jesus said to her, “Go, and sin no more.”
“Her accusers
prioritized adultery as the GREATER sin, not Jesus.” She said. That same woman was delivered from
seven unclean spirits, and she received Jesus Christ, and called him, “Lord, and
God.” She followed Jesus throughout his ministry, and even to the Cross
of Galilee, and she was the first person at his sepulcher (tomb). The Angel
of God sent her with a message to give to the disciples. Because she accepted
Jesus’s forgiveness, she was made free indeed, even from sliding backwards to
sins of adultery and fornication.
Remember, God can
forgive trespasses and wash whiter than snow. Remember God can strengthen,
protect, and unite us back unto himself. Remember His Holiness, and fall
in love again with our Creator! A love that is pure, strong, and
immeasurable. Women, accept God’s forgiveness through Jesus Christ, and return
back to him, our FIRST LOVE.
