You Can Resist Part-1

     Resisting evil is something we have the power to do; but many have refused to accept this extraordinary power for the sake of vain pleasures.  What I mean by that is- many don’t resist evil, for reasons, the pleasures derived are desired to be continued.

     Definitely, our conscious behaviors have proven to be different; therefore, allowing everyone to calculate (resisting evil) to suit himself.  However, the Bible defines, resisting evil as, “To Stand Against.”  “From whence come wars and fighting among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?” James 4:1  

     "To Stand Against," begins with us working on ourselves. “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4: 7   By strengthening our moral awareness we can do a profound inward check.  First, we must create a conscious recall in our minds, by accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior.  His Grace is the forgiving power, and his blood cleanses us from all evil, and blots out our transgressions.  Then, as we look in the mirror, we don’t see the next person, but we realize the person starring back at us is capable of resisting evil. 

You Are The Star

     As you take the stage to STAR in many scenes of your lives, it is your responsibilities to think about the actions you take. As the lights brighten and the cameras start rolling, there will be no one standing by to yeah CUT! or RETAKE! The story created depends entirely on the lines you choose to read by the choices you make. For instance, following the footsteps of others; not considering the results of your actions, and failing to realize that each choice has a price tag attached to it. In life's occurrences, sometimes the unpredictable does happen, and you will come face to face with choices.


     As you become more conscious to the fact of choosing, understand that you have the ability to change your mind from old thoughts and destructive habits that have been imposed on you or that you’ve adopted from your environments. Decisions which have caused many to error, you can consider your options and discard the things that could possible hinder you in life. God has given each of us a mind of intelligence wherein to choose; as the star in your life, remember that age, talents, skills or physical characteristics do not exempt you from reaping the benefits or consequences from your choices.

and endured the shame

we are the fruits

from their suffering and pain.

We this people-

Inventors, Doctors, and Lawyers

Leaders in sports, Speakers and more

TV Hosts -Astronauts

and the Neighbor next door

An extraordinary people-

knitted by the darkness of past pain

through the coloration of our skin-

we've been made proud with dignity within

bear the lovely color of Black
