Poetry: Waiting To Be Taken

Waiting To Be Taken

I took a nap where surrounds are hushed-
each voice boundly sealed.
Silently awaiting me patiently-
prepared ambitiously to perform at will.
Each one stood straight, proud and tall.
Thus, even side by side;
they compassed me about as I considered them all.
Some veracious, and those designed to scandal even secret lies.
They all speak knowledge-
some with the golden rule- tailored for my eyes
to behold their revealing sense of style.
They abide in coolness- from the heat of the day.
Each has value, though some are aged.
Revised - yes, but never refused- ready to be taken for your personal use.
None are inferior, but rather bold- they come freely and are never sold.
"I wrote this when I woke up from my nap, at the Library."

We Can Obey

Our link to God did not begin with Adam and Eve; sadly, they failed the son-ship in the Garden of Eden. Although God had a Master Plan, Jesus Christ, the restitution of the son-ship began with Abraham. It was God’s plan for Jesus Christ to come out of the seed of Abraham.

From the beginning of creation we were design for the purpose of the Creator. Each of us have a will to do, but, the will is not ours. It is not made up from our ambitions, dreams or what we think our destiny consists of. Each of our purpose is to do the Will of God.

It is possible for each of us to obey and follow through with God’s purpose; we do not have to disappoint him by failing to complete the tasks he asks.

Abraham had the courage to believe and to follow God’s plan for him. God told him to leave his family members, and sojourn where He said to sojourn. And Abraham did just that, he and his wife Sarah. God asked Abraham to offer up Isaac whom he loved, and Abraham was not disobedient. Though a painful thing to do, Abraham was willing, and prepared to offer Isaac unto the Lord. Abraham demonstrated his love, trust, and loyalty to God; He put us on track to become friends with our creator.
